100 Party dresses under £100 - Colourblocking

colourblock_partydresses.jpg

The colourblocking trend shows no signs of slowing down in the lead up to 2012, as high street brands continue to mix unexpected colours together in interesting ways to make it easier for you to be bold this Christmas. Blue and green should never be seen? Pah! Think red and orange clash? Not this season!

From simple stripes on Missguided's colourful take on the classic skater dress to Dorothy Perkins' more retro 1930s art deco print with scalloped detail, there are loads of great colourblock dresses available, but the shop that's really gone crazy for colourblocking this year is Next. The above one-shoulder purple and red belted mini dress is just one of many options in their colourblocking story. You might recognise the matching maxi dresses in purple or blue from the Christmas TV campaign. They're tres Gucci, dahhhling!
