I’ve been meaning to do a Cher Lloyd post for a while. That’s her pictured above with Lil Wayne in the studio last night in Los Angeles. She was actually in Miami over the last week or so and left for L.A. a day or so ago.
I’ve been following her since her impressive debut on the UK series X-Factor. She’s a spunky 17 year old girl from the Uk that mixes singing with a lil’ bit uh’ rappin‘. Her renditions of Keri Hilson’s “Turn My Swag On” and Jay-Z’s “Hard Knock Life” really impressed the world. Shit, it got me hooked as a fan instantly. While Cher didn’t win the X-Factor competition, she’s quickly emerging as the hidden gem from this past season’s contest.
I’m telling you right now, she is it. She has the makings of being a superstar. And she has so many years ahead of her to perfect her craft. She still hasn’t released any original songs, but if you want to check out some of her renditions mentioned a couple sentences ago .
