AY FT. MS TRINITI

Ambwene Allen Yessayah, well-known by his stage name AY, is a Tanzanian Bongo flava musician. He began his career with the group S.O.G. in 1996 and then decided to go solo in 2002. AY is among the first Bongo flava artists to commercialise Hip Hop. He was also a member of the group East Coast Army. In 2007 he won Best Hip Hop Single (“Usijaribu”) at the Tanzania Music Awards and Best Video from Tanzania (“Usijaribu”) at the Kisima Music Awards. In 2008 he won Collaboration of the Year (“Habari Ndio Hiyo” featuring with Mwanafalsafa) at the Tanzania Music Awards and Best Tanzanian Male Artist at the Pearl of Africa Music Award. Ay has just returned from the US, where he shot a music video with Lil Romeo as well as completing some work with T-Pain.

CP a.k.a Cpwaa real name Ilunga Khalifa started his music career at the age of 14 by imitating and singing on American rap artist tracks which later served as his inspiration. In 2003 he team up with a friend and released their first album called Nafasi Nyingine (Another Chance). After graduating, with a degree in IT Cpwaa went solo in 2006. His first hit was titled “Pwaa Part 1″which was soon followed by “Pwaa Part 2″. In 2008 he released yet another hit titled “Problem”. In September 2010 he released the third instalment of Pwaa which featured the tune “So Pwaa”. In 2011 he released his much anticipated debut album titled Pwaa The Album.
