We at VWS Jonkershoek will be holding our second Fire & Fynbos Awareness Day on the 25th September 2011. Our focus is once again on creating awareness of what our volunteer firefighters do,why it is so important for all of us to protect our precious natural heritage and the sensistive mountain water catchment areas.The day promises to be a blast, with loads of fun (and often educational) activities for the kids and grown-ups too. With foodstalls,tented seating and interesting exhibitions the event is a fun filled day for the entire family!
